How do we get started?

  1. Choose a website monthly plan and design package and fill out the simple sign-up form.
  2. You will be redirected to our shopping cart to pay for 50% of the price of your design package.
  3. Upon payment, we will send you a survey that will help you communicate to us your website details. We will help you in this discovery process and then commence work on your website.

How do we update our website?

Once your website has been approved and is live, we will create an account for you in the website manager. This will give you access to manage your website through your web browser. We will give you access to documentation that will show you how to use all the features of your website. Standard updating of web pages is as simple as working in a word processor. You can upload your own graphics to put into articles very easily.

What if we can't figure out how to do something?

Just contact Top Church Websites support and we will show you how, either through our online documentation or through personalized help.

Can we have a members-only section?

Yes, you may designate any page on the website for public or registered viewing. If a page is designated for registered viewing, then a guest must be logged onto the website in order to view that page. Some churches allow members-only to access certain sections of their website. These members-only sections are completely invisible and inaccessible to the public.

Can we change our website design at a later time?

Yes, we can completely redesign the look of your website with another customized web design that will work with your current content. A complete custom redesign of the visual look of your site, while keeping the content and menu system the same will cost 50% of the Custom Design Plus package. For a minor redesign, please contact us for a quote, which will be less than the complete redesign.

Who provides the website graphics?

We provide our own graphics for most of the graphic design to maintain a high quality that will make your website stand out from other church websites. If you have high quality logos or photos of your church or staff, we will do our best to incorporate them into the graphic design or the appropriate place in the pages of your website.

Can we use our own web host?

In order to ensure that your content management system operates properly for your custom church web design, it must be hosted on our servers. This allows us to make sure that everything is set up properly, aids in troubleshooting and makes it possible for us to keep your website updated with the latest upgrades.

What about email?

All plans include a generous number of email addresses for your domain name. Your email accounts may be easily administered through your website control panel. Webmail is also available if desired. We provide one free domain registration for all our clients.

What does the monthly maintenance fee cover?

The monthly maintenance fee covers the use of our customized content management system including special features, as well as web hosting, email, daily backup, software updates, domain registration and support for any problem you may have. We make sure that your website will function properly with every major browser having more than 5% market share.
